The French government has announced that it will increase the monthly minimum wage on Aug. 1.
Key Points:
Additional Information: The minimum wage for EU Blue Card holders remains €53,836.50 per year. More information regarding current salary requirements is available here.
BAL Analysis: The minimum wage was raised because of an increase in inflation in 2022. Authorities will re-evaluate the national minimum wage in January 2023. BAL will continue to monitor salary requirements and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
