The Italian government has announced that it will launch a digital nomad visa for qualifying foreign nationals to live and work remotely in the country.

Key Points:

  • The remote work visa will allow foreign nationals to live and work in Italy for up to one year without having to apply for a work permit.
  • The Italian digital nomad visa has not been implemented at this time. The government is expected to publish more information regarding eligibility and income requirements as well as application instructions in the coming weeks.
