Vernadette is a partner in the Dallas office of BAL. She has extensive experience in corporate immigration law and provides expert advice to clients in managing successful global immigration programs. Vernadette represents clients in a variety of industries, with a primary focus in aerospace, finance, pharmaceuticals, technology, engineering and construction. Her client-base ranges from companies with emerging international programs to those well established in over sixty countries. Vernadette started in BAL’s U.S. practice, where she guided clients in all aspects of U.S. immigration, including employment-based nonimmigrant visas, PERM labor certification applications, immigrant petitions and adjustment of status. She also oversaw BAL’s global practice in our San Francisco office for several years, helping companies to navigate the challenges and complexities of a global mobility program. Prior to joining BAL, Vernadette practiced immigration law with several firms in the San Francisco Bay Area, including a prestigious firm specializing in criminal deportation and business immigration, a boutique immigration firm and a large full-service immigration firm.
