Rusty DeMoss is an Associate attorney in BAL’s Atlanta office. He provides representation in all aspects of business immigration law and family immigration law, including IV, NIV, PERM, AOS, consular processing, DACA and TPS. Rusty specializes in case liaison, case breakthrough and Department of Homeland Security CIS Ombudsman assistance.

With over 30 years of experience practicing immigration and nationality law, Rusty has served as an attorney in private practice as well as boutique and large corporate AmLaw100 firms. He spent over a decade as a senior liaison on a national level with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and has authored numerous professional publications on immigration law.

Rusty is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a frequent speaker at annual and regional conferences. He has been recognized by the International Who's Who Legal for Corporate Immigration, AILA Presidential Commendations and received the AILA Joseph Minsky Young Lawyer Award. He is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Florida Bar. Outside of work, Rusty is an ordained minister and avid boogie boarder who enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new cuisines and cultures.
