Rob is a Houston based Partner at BAL and serves on the firm’s Management Committee. In close collaboration with BAL’s CEO and Managing Partner, he plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives aligned with the firm’s vision and goals. Additionally, Rob serves as the Executive Sponsor and Chair of two of BAL’s Tech Steering Committees, where he focuses on enhancing the HR/Mobility and Foreign National experiences. With a wealth of business acumen and immigration expertise, Rob helps clients develop innovative solutions to address workforce challenges both in the U.S. and globally. His diverse experience spans from advising Fortune 500 companies to supporting smaller, community-based organizations. He specializes in crafting business strategies for industries such as finance, technology, energy, and pharmaceuticals. Rob is passionate about the unique contributions that immigrants bring to the U.S. and is committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of immigration laws and regulations, particularly in today’s rapidly changing environment. A frequent speaker at national and international conferences, Rob has held leadership positions within the American Immigration Lawyers Association, including serving as Chair of AILA’s Texas Chapter. He is also deeply engaged with the LGBTQ+ community and has served on the boards of Pride Houston, the Equality Texas Foundation, and the Victory Fund in Washington, D.C.
