Paul Martin

Paul is a Senior Associate in the Dallas office of BAL, working on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. He focuses on O-1, L-1, H-1B, NIW and other employment-based petitions. His expertise also includes EB-1 petitions across the outstanding researcher, extraordinary ability and multinational manager categories. Paul also specializes in strategizing and overseeing responses to complex government challenges to nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, such as RFEs, NOIDs and appeal filings.

Paul has overseen high-volume casework for the H-1B cap, as well as individual and blanket L-1 filings, company L blankets, E-2 registrations, PERM, AOS and immigrant visa consular applications. He has also advised companies on hiring best practices and immigration requirements for all nonimmigrant categories, including J-1 and F-1.

Paul has served as an advocate for low-income immigrant employees as well as LGBTQ+ asylees. He belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
