Michelle is a Partner and head of BAL's Tysons office. In her leadership role, Michelle applies not only legal expertise but also compassion born of her commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives. She enjoys assisting companies and their employees in navigating the immigration process, and she is adept at simplifying its complexities.

As head of practice management, Michelle and her team are responsible for cascading fast-paced changes to rules and regulations through all BAL legal processes. Those changes impact our corporate clients as well as employees and their families around the world, and so must be identified and adapted to as quickly as possible. She leverages her years of experience to ensure consistency and efficiency are maintained while maximizing BAL’s effectiveness for clients and their foreign national employees.

Michelle is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has served on its Department of Labor and USCIS Texas Service Center liaison committees. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2021, is listed in Who’s Who Legal and achieved a Band 1 ranking in the Chambers USA Virginia Guide 2022-2023.
