Karla is an Associate in BAL’s Dallas office. As a seasoned immigration attorney, she adeptly manages high-volume EB-1 and EB-2 immigrant business visa cases, drafting and reviewing a range of immigration petitions such as extraordinary ability, outstanding researcher, multinational manager, national interest waiver, PERM, adjustment of status (including family-based) and employment authorization document/advanced parole.

Karla’s expertise lies in crafting compelling narratives for EB-1 and EB-2 NIW cases, consistently achieving approvals for clients. With a focus on client satisfaction, she leverages her expertise in Cobalt®, BAL's immigration case management software, to ensure adherence to service-level agreements and critical immigration timelines.

Beyond managing corporate client accounts, Karla is dedicated to pro bono work, offering legal assistance to underserved individuals in immigration matters. Her passion for immigration law developed growing up along the Texas-Mexico border, where she witnessed a crossroads of culture and complex immigration issues. Karla is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
