“I went to law school to practice immigration law. As an immigrant myself, I knew I wanted to help others navigate the involved process of immigrating to the United States. This field is constantly changing. At BAL, we stay keenly aware of the new policies across different administrations.”
Jennifer is a Senior Associate in BAL’s San Francisco office. She advises and represents multinational corporate clients on U.S. business immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, TN, and O-1, among others). Her foreign language skills (including native Spanish) serve her well as she counsels companies and their foreign national employees. Jennifer has been recognized multiple times as one of Super Lawyers® Northern California Rising Stars. Prior to joining BAL, Jennifer worked for boutique immigration firms in San Francisco and Houston on a wide range of immigrant, nonimmigrant, humanitarian, and removal defense matters. Jennifer volunteers as an attorney for La Raza Centro Legal immigration clinics and San Francisco Pathways to Citizenship Initiative’s naturalization workshops. She serves on the Advisory Council for the Northern California chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
