"I have always enjoyed immigration law because there is no adversary; I help a company and foreign national realize their mutual goal of working and thriving together."

Jason is a partner in BAL’s Tysons office. He has worked with clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies, offering them both practical and creative solutions to their immigration challenges. He specializes in the financial services sector and has deep knowledge of the specific issues faced by these employers in recruiting, hiring and retaining foreign workers. He also has extensive experience in E-2 nonimmigrant visa petitions for companies of all sizes.

Jason gained extensive immigration law experience prior to joining BAL at a multi-practice firm, working in both its New York and Washington, D.C. offices, during which time he gained a full 360 view of the issues companies face when employing a global workforce.

He worked as a paralegal in business immigration law before attending law school, giving him a full understanding of every aspect of the work, from day-to-day mechanics to complex legal minutiae.

Jason is a pro bono guardian for the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Jason has worked extensively over the years with the Lawyers Alliance for New York, including being honored with the organization's Cornerstone Award.

Jason is an avid sports fan, in particular cheering on his three children in soccer, basketball and baseball.
