Heather Oh

Heather is a Senior Associate in the New York office of BAL. She provides deep insights and strategic guidance on employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant matters to her clients in a variety of industries. She advises employers on compliance, program management, and corporate reorganizations.

Heather’s creativity in finding tailored solutions for clients and her commitment to providing superior service to each of the employees whose cases she handles are her key strengths. At BAL, she harmonizes processes and oversees performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction remains high.

Heather is particularly involved in supporting and teaching our legal teams, and colleagues within the employment-based immigration law space. She provides guidance with junior attorneys and staff members, she speaks at industry conferences and webinars, and has authored articles for the firm’s knowledge platform and blog, and was published in the California Business Journal

Heather has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers: Rising Stars and Super Lawyers: Ones for Watch for several years. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and was the co-chair of the Immigration Law Committee for AABANY.

Heather enjoys spending her free time with her husband, daughter, and black lab Pepper.
