Cheryl Kilborn

Cheryl works in BAL’s Chicago office as a Senior Associate with expertise in corporate acquisitions, workforce restructuring and employment immigration matters. She has provided strategic insight to clients across various industries, including finance, consulting, IT and manufacturing.

Prior to joining BAL, Cheryl worked for a large immigration firm, where she provided counsel to clients on corporate acquisitions and restructuring, reductions in force and successor-in-interest scenarios, as well as ancillary employment immigration matters such as I-9 compliance, e-verify, audits and government site visits. During law school, she completed a one-year legal externship with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, gaining invaluable experience in the most complex areas of immigration law.
