Mark is a Senior Associate in the Atlanta office of BAL, where he advises foreign national employees and human resources professionals on U.S. work-based immigrant and nonimmigrant status, admission and regulatory compliance issues. Mark has over 17 years of experience managing teams of immigration professionals in high-volume business immigration caseloads of nonimmigrant (principally H-1B, L-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B1 and TN) and work-based immigrant visas (including PERM and multinational manager and extraordinary ability petitions). Prior to business immigration, Mark worked in labor and employment litigation where he performed all tasks associated with the litigation of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, ERISA, OFCCP and state law claims related to employment, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, motions and briefs and defending depositions and preparing matters for trial. Mark is an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church and believes strongly that his calling as priest and immigration lawyer are both grounded in the truth that all human beings possess inherent dignity that is worthy of respect. Mark is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
