United States | Updated TPS, DACA, employment authorization and other application forms take effect May 29

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has advised that only the updated Jan. 20, 2025, editions of Temporary Protected Status (TPS), employment authorization and other applications forms will be accepted starting May 29.

Key Points:

• Starting May 29, 2025, only the Jan. 20, 2025, edition of certain forms will be accepted, including:
  • Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status
  • Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization
  • Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
  • Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
• The April 1, 2024, editions of Forms I-821, I-821D and I-90, and the Aug. 28, 2024, edition of Form I-765 can be used until May 29.
• The edition date and further instructions can be found at the bottom of the form page.
